In order to facilitate the participation of SMEs which are more used to national channels and which would otherwise carry out research activities only within their national boundaries, the Eurostars-2 financial contribution should be provided in accordance with the well-known rules of their national programmes and implemented through a funding agreement directly administered by the national authorities, combining Union funding with the corresponding national funding.
Afin de faciliter la participation des PME qui sont plus habituées aux canaux nationaux et qui, autrement, ne mèneraient des activités de recherche qu’à l’intérieur de leurs frontières nationales, la contribution financière d’Eurostars-2 devrait être accordée conformément aux règles bien connues des programmes nationaux et mise en œuvre au moyen d’une convention de financement administrée directement par les autorités nationales, combinant le financement de l’Union et les financement nationaux correspondants.
