En ce qui concerne les subventions, je rappelle au Parlement, bien qu’en vertu de différents accords internationaux nous n’ayons pas le droit de légiférer sur les mouvements d’animaux à l’extérieur de notre territoire, que l’Union européenne a lié le versement des aides à l’exportation au respect des exigences en matière de bien-être des animaux en cours de transport. Le fait de lier ces deux aspects constitue une avancée substantielle, car elle apporte un meilleur respect, même si ce n’est pas au moyen d’une législation immédiate.
