What distinguishes our product from others sold across Canada — because there are other manufacturers in Quebec, and there are many out west in Canada using mostly Douglas fir — what really sets our glue-laminated wood apart from what we see in the Scandinavian countries, in Germany, in France, in European countries who have shown great leadership in non residential wood construction, is that it is not made up of large pieces of softwood that are essentially two inches by six inches.
Là où notre produit se distingue par rapport à ce que l'on connaît partout au Canada, il y a d'autres fabricants au Québec, il y en a beaucoup dans l'Ouest canadien, avec du sapin Douglas essentiellement, là où notre bois de lamellé- collé se distingue beaucoup de ce que l'on observe dans les pays scandinaves, en Allemagne, en France, des pays européens qui ont un grand leadership en construction non résidentielle en bois, c'est qu'il n'est pas assemblé de grosses pièces de bois d'œuvre qui font essentiellement deux pouces par six pouces.
