Following the adoption, in June 2005, of two regulations amending the preventive and dissuasive provisions on fiscal rules in the stability and growth pact, together with a new code of conduct for its implementation, the Council declared itself satisfied with the way the revised pact worked.

The revised EMAS Regulation provides for the establishment of a working plan setting out an indicative list of sectors, for which sectoral reference documents will be considered priorities, in this framework.
