This new policy, largely brought about by the Prime Minister, Mr Georgevski, and the President of the Democratic Party of Albanians in Macedonia, Mr Xhaferi, and by the OSCE Special Envoy, Mr Van der Stoel, will also make it possible to reintegrate into a normal course of education around 7000 Albanian students in Macedonia who have been studying at the unofficial University of Tetovo and who would otherwise have no prospects for the future and would become an easy prey for populists and supporters of a violent solution to the question of community relations in Macedonia.
