Building on the Council Resolution of 31 October 1994 and on actions already implemented in the framework of the Permanent Network of National Correspondents on Civil Protection (PNNC), the proposal aims at strengthening Community cooperation in the field of Civil protection through the establishment of a detailed programme, in order to contribute to the protection of persons, environment and property in the event of a natural or technological disaster.
Se fondant sur la résolution du Conseil du 31 octobre 1994 et sur des actions déjà mises en oeuvre dans le cadre du Réseau permanent de correspondants nationaux en matière de protection civile (RPCN), la proposition vise à renforcer la coopération communautaire dans le domaine de la protection civile par la mise en place d'un programme détaillé, afin de contribuer à la protection des personnes, de l'environnement et des biens en cas de catastrophe naturelle et technologique.
