Supports the principle of co-presidency, on a basis of parity, equality and joint governance, and, on the assumption that the Treaty of Lisbon will enter into force, considers that it should be consistent with the resulting institutional framework regarding the external representation of the European Union and that the biannual summit, the Joint Permanent Committee and the meetings of senior officials are useful tools for injecting greater efficiency and transparency into the Process;
3. soutient le principe d'une coprésidence, fondée sur la parité, l'égalité et une gouvernance conjointe et, s’inscrivant dans l'hypothèse que le traité de Lisbonne entrera en vigueur, estime que celle-ci se doit d'être cohérente avec le cadre institutionnel qui en découlera en ce qui concerne la représentation extérieure de l'Union européenne, et que le sommet bisannuel, le comité permanent conjoint et les réunions de hauts fonctionnaires sont des instruments utiles contribuant à renforcer l'efficacité et la transparence du processus;
