(6) 'aquaculture' means the rearing of aquatic animals using techniques designed to increase the production of those animals beyond the natural capacity of the environment and where the animals remain the property of one or more natural or legal persons throughout the rearing or culture stages, up to and including harvesting, excluding the harvesting or catching for the purposes of human consumption of wild aquatic animals which are subsequently temporarily kept awaiting slaughter without being fed;
6) «aquaculture»: l’élevage d’animaux aquatiques au moyen de techniques visant à augmenter, au-delà des capacités naturelles du milieu, la production des animaux concernés, ceux-ci demeurant la propriété d’une ou plusieurs personnes physiques ou morales tout au long de leur phase d’élevage et de culture, jusqu’à la récolte incluse, à l’exclusion de la récolte ou de la capture à des fins de consommation humaine d’animaux sauvages aquatiques qui sont ensuite temporairement détenus sans être alimentés jusqu’à leur abattage;
