When it was fiercely debated, article by article, comma by comma, and finalised, we were again side by side with many other members of the Convention whom I see again here: Mr Brok, Mr Duff, Mr Duhamel, Mr Lamassoure, Mrs Van Lancker, Mr Voggenhuber and others I am thinking of who will not take it amiss if I do not mention them by name, Parliament’s delegates to the convention and their deputies, who were always active, uncompromising and intelligent.
Lorsqu’il a fallu en discuter âprement, article par article, virgule par virgule, et le finaliser, nous avons encore été côte à côte avec bien d’autres conventionnels que je retrouve ici: Elmar Brok, Andrew Duff, Olivier Duhamel, Alain Lamassoure, Anne Van Lancker, Johannes Voggenhuber et d’autres qui ne m’en voudront pas de ne pas les citer mais auxquels je pense, les conventionnels du Parlement et leurs suppléants qui ont été toujours actifs, intransigeants, intelligents.
