The boundary line incorporates the settlement of Stopnik, runs along the Idrijca river valley, along the edge of the Šentviška Planota plateau, through the settlement of Bukovo, along the edge of the Cerkljansko hills up to and including Zakojca, through Porezen, along the edge of the Davča valley and along the Blegoš foothills towards Podjelovo Brdo, up to and including Jazne; from there it heads towards Govejk, taking in the settlements of Govejk, Zavratec, Potok and Godovič, then it runs through Javornik, past Kanji Dol, along the edge of Gore, through Trnovski Gozd forest towards Oblakov Vrh, which forms part of the area, and back to Stopnik.
L'aire est délimitée par une ligne englobant le village de Stopnik, passant par la vallée de la rivière Idrijca, longeant le plateau de Šentviška planota, traversant le village de Bukovo, longeant les collines du Cerkljansko pour rejoindre le village de Zakojca, en traversant Porezen, en longeant la vallée de la Davča, en passant au pied du Blegoš en direction du village de Podjelovo Brdo pour rejoindre le village de Jazne compris dans l'aire; la ligne continue ensuite vers Govejk et inclut les villages de Govejk, Zavratec, Potok, Godovič, puis traverse Javornik, en passant par Kanji Dol, en bordure de Gore, traverse le bois de Trnovski gozd en direction d'Oblakov Vrh, qui est aussi compris dans l'aire, pour enfin revenir à Stopnik.
