On 23 November 2007 the Commission adopted a communication on general adaptation to the PRAC (COM(2007)740 final), in which it identified 225 legislative acts adopted under the codecision procedure which should also be the subject of adaptation and which figure on three lists: list 1 (‘general list’) - 156 legislative acts that are to be adapted by means of so-called ‘omnibus' amending regulations; list 2 (‘list of instruments undergoing codification’) - 23 instruments that are to be adapted either by means of legislative amendment or by conversion of the codified proposal into a recast, depending on the stage reached in the codificatio ...[+++]n procedure; list 3 (‘list of the other instruments needing adaptation’) which are to be adapted either in the context of a substantial amendment of the basic instrument going beyond the comitology aspects alone or which will be rendered superfluous by their repeal.
