I wish to close by saying that in the pharmaceutical sector, together with my colleague Mr Verheugen, we shall soon be announcing an initiative in the pharmaceutical industry sector and we shall take account here in the patient information sector of the need for a different approach to women as regards the use of drugs which, as the report quite rightly says and there is no need for me to analyse it further, react differently in men and women.
En conclusion, je voudrais dire que mon collègue M. Verheugen et moi-même annoncerons bientôt une initiative qui s’adressera au secteur pharmaceutique, et nous tiendrons compte, pour ce qui est des informations relatives au patient, de la nécessité d’adopter une approche différente lorsqu’il s’agit de la consommation de médicaments chez les femmes, qui, comme le rapport le souligne à juste titre et me dispense de donner d’autres explications, entraîne des réactions différentes suivant le sexe.
