12. This also applies to the OBNOVA programme for reconstruction in the former Yugoslavia where it has in the meantime proved possible, in response to sustained pressure from Parliament, at least to raise the threshold for projects subject to approval by the management committee from the original figure of ECU 2 m to ECU 5 m in the now revised regulation, so granting the Commission more room for manoeuvre and flexibility in implementing programmes.
