Ce label ne doit pas être vu comme une simple transformation de l’initiative intergouvernementale mais bien comme un véritable outil qui, reposant sur l’expérience, apportera une véritable valeur ajoutée tant à travers l’impulsion qu’elle peut donner à la promotion des valeurs européennes par les États ou les autorités locales qu’au niveau de la connaissance de ces valeurs par les citoyens.
It should not be seen as a simple transformation of the intergovernmental initiative, but rather as a real tool which, based on experience, will bring real added value, both through the impetus it may give to the promotion of European values by Member States or local authorities and in terms of our citizens’ knowledge of these values.
