Today you can find air force personnel almost everywhere you turn throughout the theatre of operations: at the theatre support element, largely run by the air force; with the joint task force in Kandahar, both on the airfield and outside the wire at the forward operating bases, and with the provincial reconstruction team; and elsewhere throughout Afghanistan.
