La présente communication aborde les principaux aspects du processus de basculement, en particulier l'introduction de l'euro fiduciaire, la conversion des systèmes administratifs et financiers, l'incidence réelle et perçue du passage à l'euro sur les prix, et l'avis des citoyens concernant les campagnes d'information et de communication; de plus, certaines conclusions tirées dans cette communication pourraient s'avérer utiles à d'autres pays qui adopteront l'euro à l'avenir.
This Communication covers the most important aspects of the changeover process, in particular the cash changeover, the conversion of the administrative and financial systems, the real and perceived impact of the euro's introduction on prices, and the citizens' opinion on the information and communication campaigns; additionally, some conclusions are drawn which may be of value for future changeovers.
