Prenons la Colombie-Britannique comme exemple; nous avons un organisme pour le traitement des plaintes du public liées à la conduite, un autre organisme consacré aux incidents graves qui donnent lieu à une blessure à signaler chez un membre du public, puis on doit mener une enquête ultérieure pour déterminer si le policier est coupable d'inconduite criminelle.
