Again, the United States has, I would think, fairly well-developed laws with which we'd be able to find bilateral agreement—and probably one of the first countries, since they're our major trading partner—but if that national interest clause or some senator seeking re-election down in the States can just trump the whole thing by bringing in a vexatious bill or anti-trade-dumping law, and it seems they can bring in almost anything at any time to override the competition aspect of it, what protection do we have?
