Althouse (Mackenzie), — Qu’on modifie le projet de loi C–56, à l’article 1, par adjonction, après la ligne 11, page 1, de ce qui suit : « b.2) de faire en sorte que les projets susceptibles d’entraîner des effets environnementaux négatifs importants ou de préoccuper grandement le public fassent l’objet d’un examen public de la part d’un organisme indépendant».
The House proceeded to the taking of the deferred recorded division on Motion No. 1 of Mr. Taylor (The Battlefords–Meadow Lake), seconded by Mr. Althouse (Mackenzie), — That Bill C–56, in Clause 1, be amended by adding after line 11, on page 1, the following: “(b.2) to ensure that projects likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects or public concern are publicly reviewed through a process of independent decision making”.
