Dans le sud-ouest, nous pourrions travailler à mettre en valeur le secteur Peel en tant que lieu de rassemblement communautaire et culturel, améliorer l'accès au canal et renforcer la perméabilité des interfaces avec les quartiers limitrophes qui se développent de plus en plus autour du canal à cet endroit; et à créer une place qui deviendrait la fenêtre de Parcs Canada et du gouvernement du Canada à Montréal.
In the southwest, we could work at developing the Peel sector to make that area a community and cultural gathering place; improve access to the canal, especially to and from the local neighbourhoods that are growing increasingly around the canal in that area; and build a canal square that would become Parks Canada's showcase as well as the Government of Canada's showcase in Montreal.
