En 2006 la Commission a infligé des amendes d’un montant total supérieur à 519 millions d’euros à treize sociétés pour avoir participé, à des périodes différentes comprises entre le 20 mai 1996 et le 28 novembre 2002, à une entente sur le marché du caoutchouc butadiène (CB) et du caoutchouc styrène-butadiène fabriqué par polymérisation en émulsion (CSB).
