Le "travailleur salarié” est une personne qui fait l'objet d'un contrat conclu avec un employeur ou qui travaille dans le cadre d'un tel contrat (ou, dans le cas d'un contrat arrivé à expiration, qui a travaillé dans le cadre d'un tel contrat), qu'il s'agisse d'un contrat concernant un travail manuel, de bureau ou autre, explicite ou implicite, oral ou écrit, ou qu'il s'agisse d'un contrat de service, d'apprentissage ou autre. Le "travailleur salarié” et toute référence à l'emploi sont interprétés en accord avec cette définition.
“Employee” means at least a person who has entered into or works under (or in the case of a contract which has been terminated, has worked under) a contract with an employer, whether the contract is for manual labour, clerical work or any other work, is expressed or implied, oral or in writing, and whether it is a contract of service or apprenticeship or other type of contract, and "employee" and any reference to employment shall be construed accordingly.
