Lord Plumb, who will be speaking to the Heads of State and Government at the outset of the Summit, reaffirmed the commitment of the Parliament to make a success of the Single European Act, and drew attention to the major Parliamentary reports that will be voted in the November plenary session, on future financing, reform of the Structural Funds, and reform of the CAP, covering in particular the proposal for agricultural stabilisers.
Lord Plumb, qui s'adressera aux Chefs d'Etat et de gouvernement au début du Sommet, a réaffirmé la volonté du Parlement de tout mettre en oeuvre pour réussir l'Acte Unique et attiré l'attention de ses interlocuteurs sur les importants rapports parlementaires qui seront mis au vote, lors de la période de session de novembre, sur le financement futur, sur la réforme des fonds structurels et sur la réforme de la PAC et comportant, notamment, la proposition relative aux stabilisateurs agricoles.
