In order to give the "quantitative particulars" of the active substances of an immunological veterinary medicinal product, it is necessary to specify whenever possible the number of organisms, the specific protein content, the mass, the number of International Units (IU) or units of biological activity, either per dosage-unit or volume, and with regard to the adjuvant and to the constituents of the excipients, the mass or the volume of each of them, with due allowance for the details provided in section B.
Pour donner la "composition quantitative" des substances actives du médicament immunologique vétérinaire, il faut indiquer, si possible, le nombre d'organismes, la teneur ou le poids en protéine spécifique, le nombre d'unités internationales (UI) ou d'unités d'activité biologique, soit par unité de prise, soit par unité de volume, de chaque substance active et, en ce qui concerne l'adjuvant et les composants de l'excipient, le poids ou le volume de chacun d'eux, en tenant compte des détails figurant à la section B.
