As regards transport, the actions promoted by the White Paper on transport in the period up to 2050[36] – which are designed in particular to eliminate obstacles to the achievement of a genuine single market encompassing all transport modes and all national systems (including smart transport systems) and to develop a modern multimodal cabotage and transport network – should be implemented.
