In the meantime, the Commission had informed the Italian authorities in 2008 of the inferences that it intended to draw from the ongoing infringement procedure by way of consequences for the financing of the Campania OP, in that it intended provisionally to refuse to make payments to cover the repayment of expenditure incurred by the Campania OP in connection with the regional waste management and disposal system, which was one of the matters covered by the infringement procedure.
Entre-temps, la Commission avait informé, en 2008, les autorités italiennes des conséquences sur le financement du PO Campanie qu’elle entendait tirer de la procédure d’infraction en cours, en ce sens qu'elle envisageait de refuser provisoirement le remboursement des dépenses du PO Campanie concernant le système régional de gestion et d’élimination des déchets, qui faisait également l’objet de la procédure d’infraction.
