In 2000, the Radiocommunications Agency (United Kingdom) and the Austrian Telekom- Control-Kommission each issued a number of licences for the use of certain frequency blocks for the provision of mobile telephone services in accordance with the UMTS/IMT-2000 standard (also known as third generation – 3G -- mobile telephone services ).
Dans l’année 2000, la Radiocommunications Agency (Royaume-Uni) et la Telekom- Control-Kommission (Autriche) ont chacune adjugé par voie d’enchères plusieurs licences d’utilisation de lots de fréquences permettant d’offrir des services de télécommunications mobiles du type UMTS/IMT-2000 (appelés aussi services de télécommunications mobiles de la troisième génération – 3G –).
