9.1 If a rail car, reusable container, intermodal tank container or other container, having a capacity of 9,000 L or more, was used to provide or send red or white phosphorus and the rail car or container is returned to the person who produced the phosphorous with residual amounts that cannot be offloaded under normally accepted operating procedures in the chemical industry, the person returning the rail car or container in that state is exempt from the requirements of these Regulations in respect of that activity.
9.1 Si un wagon porte-rails, un conteneur multimodal, un conteneur réutilisable ou tout autre gros conteneur, d’une capacité de 9 000 L ou plus, a été utilisé pour fournir ou expédier du phosphore rouge ou blanc et que le wagon ou conteneur est renvoyé à la personne qui a produit le phosphore avec une quantité résiduelle de phosphore qui ne peut être déchargée selon les procédures d’exploitation normales reconnues dans le domaine de l’industrie chimique, la personne qui renvoie ainsi le wagon ou conteneur est soustraite, en ce qui a trait à cette opération, aux exigences du présent règlement.
