– (DE) Mr President, Mr Vice-President, the first thing this report does is to endorse what is simply a technical necessity, that is to say, the adaptation of this drugs monitoring centre, but what I see as far more important is what the rapporteur does in the other part of the report, which addresses the issue of how the work of the Monitoring Centre on Drugs can be organised in a more efficient way.
- (DE) Monsieur le Président, Monsieur le Vice-président, le présent rapport débute en confirmant ce qui n’est rien d’autre qu’une nécessité technique, à savoir l’adaptation de l’Observatoire des drogues aux situations nouvelles. Cependant, ce qui est, selon moi, beaucoup plus important, c’est l’autre partie du rapport, qui concerne la manière dont les travaux de l’Observatoire des drogues pourraient être rendus plus efficaces.
