Assisted Relative Class

Definition: This block contains a wide variety of disorders that differ in severity and clinical form but that are all attributable to the use of one or more psychoactive substances, which may or may not have been medically prescribed. The third character of the code identifies the substance involved, and the fourth character specifies the clinical state. The codes should be used, as required, for each substance specified, but it should be noted that not all fourth character codes are applicable to all substances. Identification of the psychoactive substance should be based on as many sources of information as possible. These include sel ...[+++]f-report data, analysis of blood and other body fluids, characteristic physical and psychological symptoms, clinical signs and behaviour, and other evidence such as a drug being in the patient's possession or reports from informed third parties. Many drug users take more than one type of psychoactive substance. The main diagnosis should be classified, whenever possible, according to the substance or class of substances that has caused or contributed most to the presenting clinical syndrome. Other diagnoses should be coded when other psychoactive substances have been taken in intoxicating amounts (common fourth character .0) or to the extent of causing harm (common fourth character .1), dependence (common fourth character .2) or other disorders (common fourth character .3-.9). The necessary procedures include a call for expressions of interest, appraisal of the applications for assistance, the decisions granting the assistance, calls for tender and awarding of contracts before work can start.

September: Visits to the areas concerned by the projects 'Collectors and treatment station at Las Navas del Marqués (Avila)' (CF No 98.11.61.036) and 'Expansion of supply at Las Navas del Marqués (Avila)' (CCI 2002.ES.16.C.PE.003), which provided all the information required to complete examination of the application to amend the physical object of the first project, approved by Decision C(2002) 3512 of 6 November 2002, and the application for assistance for the second project, approved by Decision C(2002) 4270 of 16 December 2002.

4. Where it is established, on the basis of the information referred to in paragraph 3, that part of the funding allocated to one or more Member States will not be committed due to a lack of applications for assistance, the Commission shall draw up, before 30 June 2006, a definitive allocation of this funding among Member States that have received applications for assistance for a total amount greater than their budget as determined in accordance with paragraph 2.
