Information shall be provided showing whether the constituents of the veterinary medicinal product are used as medicinal products in human therapy; if this is so, a report should be made on all the effects observed (including adverse reactions) in humans and on their cause, to the extent that they may be important for the assessment of the veterinary medicinal product, where appropriate in the light of trial results of bibliographical documents; where constituents of the veterinary medicinal products are themselves not used or are no longer used as medicinal products in human therapy, the reasons should be stated.
Le dossier doit comporter des renseignements indiquant si les composants du médicament vétérinaire sont employés comme médicaments en médecine humaine; si tel est le cas, tous les effets constatés (y compris les effets indésirables) sur l'homme et leur cause doivent être mentionnés dans la mesure où ils peuvent avoir de l'importance pour l'appréciation du médicament vétérinaire, le cas échéant, à la lumière d'essais ou de documents bibliographiques; lorsque des substances contenues dans le médicament vétérinaire ne sont pas ou ne sont plus employées comme médicament en médecine humaine, il convient d'en donner les raisons.
