I also think corporate Canada, whether it's a foreign bank or a domestic bank, also has a social responsibility, above and beyond the economic responsibility, to make sure that those individuals who are very much tied to the brick and mortar and to the so-called old economy are also given access to services they need in order to get on with their daily lives.

Je pense aussi que les entreprises canadiennes, qu'il s'agisse des banques étrangères ou des banques nationales, ont une responsabilité sociale, qui va au-delà de leur responsabilité économique, leur imposant de s'assurer que toutes les personnes qui sont essentiellement tributaires de la fourniture d'une gamme complète de services et d'une économie que l'on peut qualifier de traditionnelle, bénéficient elles aussi d'une possibilité d'accès aux services dont elles ont besoin pour vivre au quotidien.
