Member States should have the possibility to expand the Container Security Initiative to all Community ports through arrangements with the United States of America identifying Community ports that participate in the Container Security Initiative and providing for the stationing of US customs officials therein or to maintain any such existing declarations of principles to that end, provided these arrangements are in conformity with the Treaty and compatible with the CMAA as expanded by the Agreement.
Les États membres doivent avoir la possibilité d'étendre l'initiative sur la sécurité des conteneurs à tous les ports de la Communauté par des arrangements avec les États-Unis précisant les ports de la Communauté qui participent à cette initiative et prévoyant le détachement de fonctionnaires des douanes américaines dans ces ports, ou de maintenir les déclarations de principe existant en la matière, à condition que lesdits arrangements soient conformes au traité et compatibles avec l'ACAM, tel qu'étendu par l'accord.
