No person shall install below deck or enclose by boxing, on a vessel, an inboard engine that uses gasoline as a fuel unless the design of the carburetor or throttle body fuel injector, if any, is in accordance with the construction standards and the carburetor is fitted with a flame arrestor that meets those standards.

Il est interdit, à bord d’un bâtiment, d’installer, au-dessous du pont, ou de renfermer dans un encaissement, un moteur à-bord qui utilise de l’essence comme carburant à moins que la conception du carburateur, ou de l’injecteur monopoint, s’il y en a un, ne soit conforme aux normes de construction et que celui-ci ne soit muni d’un pare-flammes qui est conforme à ces normes.
