In well-defined circumstances where an application is likely to be unfounded or where there are serious national security or public order concerns, Member States should be able to accelerate the examination procedure, in particular by introducing shorter, but reasonable, time limits for certain procedural steps, without prejudice to an adequate and complete examination being carried out and to the applicant’s effective access to basic principles and guarantees provided for in this Directive.
Dans des circonstances bien définies, lorsqu’une demande est susceptible d’être infondée ou s’il existe des préoccupations graves liées à la sécurité nationale ou à l’ordre public, les États membres devraient pouvoir accélérer la procédure d’examen, notamment en instaurant des délais plus courts, mais raisonnables, pour certaines étapes de la procédure, sans préjudice de la réalisation d’un examen approprié et exhaustif et de l’accès effectif du demandeur aux garanties et principes fondamentaux prévus par la présente directive.
