Hon. Donald H. Oliver: Honourable senators, in the next couple of weeks I will be giving two major speeches outside the Senate: one to a conference to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, organized by the Visible Minorities Consultative Group, a subcommittee of the Employment Equity Committee of Statistics Canada; the second will be on March 25 at an annual meeting luncheon of the Committee for Equal Access and Participation with the Department of Canadian Heritage.

Oliver: Honorables sénateurs, au cours des deux prochaines semaines, je ferai deux discours importants à l'extérieur du Sénat, le premier, à l'occasion d'une conférence organisée par le Groupe de consultation sur les minorités visibles, un sous-comité du comité sur l'équité en matière d'emploi de Statistique Canada, pour souligner la Journée internationale pour l'élimination de la discrimination raciale, et le second, le 25 mars, dans le cadre du dîner-causerie annuel du comité pour l'égalité des chances et de la participation du ministère du Patrimoine canadien.
