In fact, as we know it, Parliament has an oversight mechanism, but they will not be able to do their work unless they are supported by someone with access directly in the system who can develop that corporate memory or knowledge from one agency to the other, from CSIS to the RCMP, from RCMP to information gathering, and from immigration officer to the border agencies.

En fait, comme nous le savons, le Parlement dispose d'un mécanisme de surveillance, mais il sera incapable de faire son travail à moins d'être appuyé par quelqu'un qui a directement accès au système et qui peut exploiter cette mémoire collective ou ce savoir d'une agence ou d'une autre, du SCRS à la GRC, de la GRC à l'agent de collecte de renseignements ou de l'agent d'immigration aux agences frontalières.
