According to Article 2 of the Protocol on the convergence criteria referred to in Article 121 of the Treaty, the criterion concerning the government budgetary position referred to in the second indent of Article 121(1) of the Treaty means that at the time of the examination the Member State is not the subject of a Council Decision under Article 104(6) of the Treaty that an excessive deficit exists.
En vertu de l’article 2 du protocole sur les critères de convergence visés à l’article 121 du traité, le critère de la situation des finances publiques, visé à l’article 121, paragraphe 1, deuxième tiret, du traité, signifie qu’un État membre ne fait pas l’objet, au moment de l’examen, d’une décision du Conseil en application de l’article 104, paragraphe 6, du traité, concernant l’existence d’un déficit excessif dans ce pays.
