We now see yet another dictatorship coming into being, and that in a country that has massive potential, a country that is one of the oldest independent states on earth, with an ancient people, predominantly Christian in culture, that until recently had never had to endure colonial hegemony, a country that had fought Fascism and European militarism, a country that was once the pride of Africa and the symbol of independent self-supporting development.
Nous assistons maintenant à l’émergence d’une nouvelle dictature, et ce dans un pays au potentiel énorme, un pays qui est l’un des États indépendants les plus anciens du monde, un pays à la population ancienne, de culture principalement chrétienne, qui jusqu’à peu n’avait jamais eu à endurer l’hégémonie coloniale, un pays qui a combattu le fascisme et le militarisme européen, un pays qui fut jadis la fierté de l’Afrique et le symbole d’un développement indépendant et autarcique.
