Whereas, for the purpose of implementing this Regulation and in particular the Eurofarm project, the individual data transmitted to the Statistical Office of the European Communities must be treated in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (Euratom, EEC) No 1588/90 (4) on the transmission of data subject to statistical confidentiality to the statistical office of the European Communities;
considérant que, pour la mise en oeuvre du présent règlement et notamment du «projet Eurofarm», le traitement des données individuelles transmises à l'Office statistique des Communautés européennes doit être conforme aux dispositions du règlement (Euratom, CEE) n° 1588/90 du Conseil, du 11 juin 1990, relatif à la transmission à l'Office statistique des Communautés européennes d'informations statistiques couvertes par le secret (4);
