BELIEVES that it is crucial to further develop cooperation between ongoing processes on invasive alien species in different fora and STRESSES that there should be a strong involvement of relevant conventions processes and organisations, such as the Global Invasive Species Programme (GISP), the World Conservation Union (IUCN), the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the Ramsar Convention, the Bern Convention, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) and the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC);

ESTIME qu'il est capital d'intensifier la coopération au niveau des processus en cours dans diverses instances en ce qui concerne les espèces exotiques envahissantes et SOULIGNE l'importance d'une participation active des processus découlant des différentes conventions et des organisations concernés, tels que le Programme mondial sur les espèces envahissantes (GISP), l'Union mondiale pour la nature (UICN), l'Organisation des Nations Unies pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture (FAO), la Convention de Ramsar, la Convention de Berne, la Convention sur le commerce international des espèces de faune et de flore sauvages menacées d'extinction (CITES) et la Convention internationale pour la protection des végétaux (CIPV);
