In response to an earlier Council request, expressed in the Council conclusions of May 2001, the EU shipbuilding industry has, together with the Commission, launched the LeaderSHIP 2015 initiative which is designed to develop new working structures and technology priorities and so sustain the Community's shipbuilding industry, in particular by establishing a level playing field world-wide and regionally.
En réponse à une demande précédente du Conseil, exprimée dans les conclusions du Conseil de mai 2001, l'industrie de la construction navale de l'UE a, de concert avec la Commission, lancé l'initiative LeaderSHIP 2015, destinée à développer de nouvelles structures de travail et priorités technologiques et à soutenir l'industrie communautaire de la construction navale, notamment en instituant des règles de jeu égales aux niveaux mondial et régional.
