The resolution adopted by the Manitoba Legislative Assembly on March 25 - by the way, voted by all of the opposition parties as well as the government - says that, as a trading province, Manitoba would find an investment treaty that mirrors the investment provisions of NAFTA potentially of great interest, but that the Government of Manitoba and members of the legislative assembly are not prepared to support an MAI that goes beyond NAFTA.
