Parliament’s competent committee shall be informed by the ECB’s Governing Council of the composition of the pool of applicants for the position of Chair (number of applications, mix of professional skills, gender and nationality balance, etc.) as well as of the method through which the pool of applicants is screened in order to draw up a shortlist of at least two candidates and eventually to determine the proposal by the ECB.
La commission compétente du Parlement est informée par le conseil des gouverneurs de la BCE de la composition du groupe des candidats à la fonction de président (nombre des candidatures, combinaison des compétences professionnelles, distribution par sexe et par nationalité, etc.), ainsi que de la méthode utilisée pour les passer en revue afin d’établir une liste restreinte d’au moins deux candidats et, ensuite, de définir la proposition de la BCE.
