The Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions on a new Animal Health Strategy for the European Union (2007 to 2013) where ‘Prevention is better than cure’ (3) identifies animal-related threat prevention, surveillance and crisis preparedness as one of the pillars of the new animal health strategy.
La communication de la Commission au Parlement européen, au Conseil, au Comité économique et social européen et au Comité des régions sur une nouvelle stratégie de santé animale pour l’Union européenne (2007-2013), placée sous la devise «mieux vaut prévenir que guérir» (3), considère la prévention des menaces liées aux animaux, la surveillance et l’état de préparation face aux crises comme constituant l’un des piliers de la nouvelle stratégie pour la santé animale.
