43 (1) Where by reason or appointment to a position in the public service of Canada, the pension of a pensioner is totally suspended and there are arrears of contributions outstanding with respect to such pension, the pensioner may inform the Chief Treasury Officer in writing and elect to pay such arrears, under the same conditions as if his pension were in payment to him, during that period of appointment.
43 (1) Lorsque, par suite d’une nomination à un emploi dans le service public du Canada, la pension d’un pensionné est suspendue complètement et qu’il y a des arriérés de contributions en souffrance à l’égard d’une telle pension, le pensionné peut en informer par écrit l’Agent en chef du Trésor et décider de payer de tels arriérés durant sa période d’emploi, aux mêmes conditions que si sa pension était restée en vigueur.
