""Eligible hectare" shall also mean areas planted with hops or being under a temporary resting obligation, or areas as calculated in the second subparagraph of point H of Annex VII under olive trees planted before 1 May 1998, except for Cyprus and Malta, for which the date shall be 31 December 2001, or new olive trees replacing existing olive trees or olive trees within approved planting schemes and registered into a geographic information system".
"Par "hectare admissible au bénéfice de l'aide", on entend également toute superficie plantée en houblon ou soumise à une obligation de mise au repos temporaire, toute superficie calculée conformément à l'annexe VII, point H, deuxième alinéa, plantée en oliviers avant le 1er mai 1998, sauf en ce qui concerne Chypre et Malte pour lesquels la date est fixée au 31 décembre 2001, toute superficie occupée par des oliviers de remplacement ou toute plantation d'oliviers installée dans le cadre de programmes approuvés et dont l'existence est enregistrée dans un système d'information géographique".
