This evening, my party and myself would have liked to have a debate that would have ended with a vote on the participation of the Canadian forces, on the participation of men and women from Quebec and the rest of Canada in the American response, a response which we would like to see more closely co-ordinated by the United Nations.
Ce soir, mon parti et moi-même aurions aimé pouvoir tenir un débat qui se serait conclu par un vote quant à la participation de ce que l'on appelle les Forces canadiennes, c'est-à-dire la participation des hommes et des femmes du Québec et du reste du Canada, à la riposte américaine que nous voudrions voir davantage coordonnée par les Nations Unies.
