1. Without prejudice to the right of the competent authority under Article 69(2) to demand suspension or removal of a financial instrument from trading, an investment firm or a market operator operating an MTF or an OTF may suspend or remove from trading a financial instrument which no longer complies with the rules of the MTF or an OTF unless such suspension or removal would be likely to cause significant damage to the investors’ interests or the orderly functioning of the market.

Sans préjudice du droit de l’autorité compétente d’exiger la suspension ou le retrait d’un instrument financier de la négociation conformément à l’article 69, paragraphe 2, une entreprise d’investissement ou un opérateur de marché exploitant un MTF ou un OTF peut suspendre ou retirer de la négociation tout instrument financier qui n’obéit plus aux règles du MTF ou de l’OTF, sauf si une telle suspension ou un tel retrait est susceptible d’affecter d’une manière significative les intérêts des investisseurs ou le fonctionnement ordonné du marché.
