One of the projects in one of the slides I was noting is a joint project that has the International Energy Agency, the federal government, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and a whole number of commercial partners looking at whether we can put carbon dioxide we produce from our coal stations in producing power, or from our oil and gas production, and re-inject it safely into the ground where it will stay and not come up in the future and perhaps produce more oil, or perhaps stay inert in a reservoir.
Un des projets décrits dans une des diapositives dont je vous ai parlé est un projet commun dans le cadre duquel l'Agence internationale de l'énergie, le gouvernement fédéral, la Saskatchewan, l'Alberta et une foule de partenaires commerciaux cherchent à déterminer s'il est possible de réinjecter sans danger le dioxyde de carbone produit par les centrales au charbon ou à la production de pétrole et de gaz dans le sous-sol où il demeurera et d'où il ne cherchera pas à sortir, voire où il produira peut-être plus de pétrole ou se maintiendra inerte dans un réservoir.
